We floated paperclips on water. We experimented with different methods of doing this. I used the float paper on the water and then placing the paperclips on the paper and until the paper starts to sink. Mary brought the water up to the rim of the and then pushed paperclips onto the skin of the water and the 3rd method found was for someone to make a tool from a paperclip to lower paperclips onto the water.
Next we tried to float the most pennies in a tin foil boat. We learned that the larger the base the better it will float.
We the looked at a "die" that had no 2 and needed to guess the number missing with only yes and no questions. She never shows us the answer explaining that is how this is how theories work.
We then did the milk with food coloring experiment. We added soap and the surface tension change made the milk run.
