I love to read up on learning theories, how science talks about learning and has learned about learning. This post really makes me think about how we learn. It talks about how learning is actually a learned behavior and not innate.
This is really important to me because of growth mindset and how it applies teaching. It might be in future that teaching will be more about teaching learning strategies. I love how it references that IQ is not as important as focusing on how we learn.
I want to bring this sort of science into my classroom so I need to get my students to follow 3 things; thinking about how they think, goal setting, and self reflection. This will be a fun challenge in my classroom.
