Today I learned that different ways to help teach writing and organize it in the classroom. I really like how Prof. Downs had it organized by student number on a whiteboard and would like to use that in my future classroom.
She would organize them with magnets with their number on them under the sections of prewriting, peer editing, teacher conference and publish. The student would move their magnets as they felt comfortable in what they were writing.
